P&G holds a leadership summit annually for top-tier leaders across their organisation. Each year, the challenge is the same: how can we inspire our people to go above and beyond? How can we make them feel like they have genuine ownership over our future as a company?
So for the 2024 summit, we decided that we would invite every attendee to think of what the future should be and spell it out — quite literally. Prior to the summit, we sent out an EDM asking them to fill in the blanks: “The Future is _____”. Their responses then fed into our opening film for the event, making personal ownership the theme of the summit from the get go, and carrying that theme through the event’s numerous presentations. The overall takeaway? Feeling like there’s no better moment to shape the future than the present.
