When one thinks of world-leading fintech innovation, HSBC isn’t the first name that jumps to mind. As a 160-year-old bank, they’re the establishment.
So when they came to us with ask of making a scene at the Singapore Fintech Festival amidst a sea of disruptive start-ups, we knew we had to be bold. More than a mere display or exhibition space, we wanted to create an immersive journey that let visitors experience HSBC’s genuine obsession with innovation first hand. Anchoring our visual language around the idea of warp speed, we designed a journey that let visitors encounter our solutions, people and groundbreaking ideas that are aren’t just anticipating fintech’s future, but actively shaping it.
Spatial Design
We designed our entire space around the visual idea of a warp speed effect, creating the feeling of being propelled forward through HSBC’s cutting-edge innovations as you explored the space.



Disruptive Thinking
Beyond simply describing the solutions on display, our messaging projected disruptive, ambitious ideas that guide how HSBC sees the future and the power of fintech to make it better than today.


Immersion & Interaction
The hexagonal screen at the heart of our space invited guests to interact and capture a unique portrait in the same warp speed effect they saw around them. Through a mobile web-app, we combined this portrait with their own thoughts around the future of fintech and let them save it as a unique video memento from the event.
